From Rochdale town hall
On the Esplanada to the traffic lights and straight over (A6060). Pass Asda, through the next set of traffic lights to a small roundabout. Take the second exit (A680) Edenfield Road (A680). Follow this road for several miles. Just after the War Memorial turn right onto Woodhouse Lane. Follow the road up the hill right to the end where the road turns into a single track lane. Proceed up the track for about half a mile and turn first right after the cobbles.

Exit the motorway at Junction 19 and take the exit toward Rochdale (A627M). Follow to the end (only 1.5 miles) and get in left hand left to via to the left (Edinburgh Way).

At the traffic lights go straight on (Roch Valley Way B6452). Down then up the hill to the next lights - straight on. Keep straight passed Rochdale Football Club to the next set of lights and turn left (Edenfield Road A680). Follow for a couple of miles. Just after the War Memorial turn right onto Woodhouse Lane. Follow the road up the hill right to the end where the road turns into a single track lane. Proceed up the track for about half a mile and turn first right after the cobbles.
